The open culture of CeX makes working so much more productive, with the freedom to be able to talk to anybody at anytime, even though they might be seniors or from cross functional teams. Its very common to find people pull up some bean bags, grab their laptops and catchup for some brainstorming impromptu, while not disturbing others who are working dedicatedly while enjoying their favorite music :) From the PHP team we do work on some of the latest and greatest industry platforms, follow the complete SDLC including requirement gather, Agile scrum boards and code reviews. It’s a place where, work hard and party harder, is built into the DNA.

Our generation is not the kind that fits well into the 9am to 6pm job. Our creativity and innovation needs space to function we believe in having a very transparent and stress‐free environment and CeX is all about that. At CeX, employees are exposed to new technology and techniques at a very early stage which helps in gaining experience and understanding what the company is all about. Being a company that deals in retail, we have ‘store days’ where we visit our stores and see the requirements of our store staff and customers which in turn helps us work on making their visits better and smoother. We, at CeX, aren’t just a normal 9am to 6pm working company. CeX is heaps and bounds beyond that!

Working in customer service, I thought it would be the same old kinda job, but it was not, infact it was lot more fun, no more STRESS. People in the team are so friendly that makes you want to come to work.
The people in the team are knowledgeable in what they know. Having never had to work in this environment before, It is an educational experience, learning about all kinds of gadgets and handling customer queries on Social Media. The management recognizes your hard work and gives you higher level responsibilities.

The company doesn’t have any dress code so we can wear clothes that we prefer and are comfortable with. I love the uncorporate approach adopted by the company, the freedom, flexibility given to employees is another reason I’d be associated with CeX for a long time. The company provides a lot of travel opportunities. An employee can travel to any location where we have a store within the country and if there’s a requirement you’d get to travel overseas and personally I’ve travelled extensively both within India and overseas.
The company also adopts a “Go figure it out” approach, instead of Managers/ Seniors asking you to do something their way they would give you a task and the rest is for us to figure out.
